May I introduce your new LOOSE blog writer; my name is Maria-Carin Gala, and I am a passionate chef living in Stroud, making all things plant-based (vegan), gluten-free and refined sugar-free! Healthy AND delicious is my mojo.
Julie, the owner of LOOSE, has asked me to contribute some yummy recipes using the ingredients you can find at LOOSE — how good is that?!
This week I’d like to share a recipe with you: vegan & gluten-free Cornbread — and an inspiration for Beautiful Beetroot Borscht. Borscht is a soup that is suitable also for summer as one can have it lukewarm or even cold. But seeing it’s not exactly tropical weather here, it’s also nice heated up.
My Cornbread recipes use unpackaged ingredients from LOOSE, such as; polenta, flax seeds, chickpea flour, rice flour, herbs and spices and salt. I find it very useful to know how to make a super nutritious cornbread for a variation on regular bread.
